Pinkneys Green, owned and managed by the National Trust, is one of Maidenhead's most glorious open meadows.
There are two main areas, one of which has a huge area of cowslips in the spring. It is one of the Maidenhead and Cookham Commons (like North Town Moor).
A meander through its hay meadows will reveal a rich variety of grasses, flowers and buzzing insects that have made their home in this expanse of open grassland.
